Jade Walters, creatively known as Jade Carson, is a May 2021 Howard University graduate with a B.S. in Health Education, concentration in Maternal and Child Health. Throughout her matriculation, some of her notable involvement includes serving as a campus rep for Ethos, Tinder, and Bumble, as well as being a Spring 2019 initiate of the first business and professional sorority for African American women, Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., Delta Phi Chapter. Jade currently works full-time in B2C marketing as an Employer Branding Specialist at WayUp, with a previous role in tech advertising as a Client Solutions Planner at TikTok. Outside of her 9-5, you can find Jade content creating on her blog, The Ninth Semester: a platform where she provides weekly career tips + early career opportunities for an audience of 70,000 early career professionals to help them secure the bag and grow in their budding careers. Jade’s a lover of all things content creation, Pilates, Sims 4, her big 3 (Libra sun, Aries moon, and Virgo rising), the color pink, and Black romance books.
